Work from home during COVID-19: the role of perceived hope, intrinsic spirituality and perceived supervisor support on job involvement

Purpose This study aims to explore the influence of perceived hope, intrinsic spirituality and supervisor support on job involvement at time work from home during COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach The sample included 263 employees working (WFH) for first in their careers due COVID-19. authors applied structural equation model multigroup analysis (MGA) SmartPLS3 examine hypothesized relationships, artificial neural network (ANN) determine relative antecedents. Findings Results indicate that both personal (such as hope spirituality) (supervisor support) resources remote working, with a moderating impact age relationship between involvement. ANN shows is most influential determinant when home. Practical implications suggests remotely, organizations can generate higher by conveying perception providing through planned interventions, promoting prosocial behavior making changes leadership style (check instead check-in). Originality/value extends demands-resources (JD-R) new insights into normal era.
